Micro Grip Hooks – Innovative, Strong, and Easy to Use

The Micro Grip Hook is one of Artiteq’s latest innovations—designed for secure, simple, and sustainable picture hanging. Made from fibreglass-reinforced plastic, it’s a lightweight yet durable solution that uses up to 70% less material than traditional hooks, making it an environmentally conscious choice.

Despite its compact size, the Micro Grip Hook offers impressive strength. It can support up to 5 kg (or 10 kg when used in pairs), when correctly inserted into D-rings. In builder’s terms –  that’s  half a sack of cement!

For best results, we recommend using two hooks per artwork. This not only provides better weight distribution and stability, but also helps prevent wobbling from accidental bumps or drafts—keeping your artwork safely and neatly aligned at all times.

This patented design has been rigorously tested by TÜV in the Netherlands, ensuring a high level of safety and reliability.

The 1mm version features a self-locking mechanism that grips the hanging wire firmly in the downward direction. You can easily adjust the height by pulling down on the hanging wire while pushing the hook up. To slide the hook down, simply pinch the top plunger and bottom of the hook together.

To attach the hook, feed the wire into the hole at the top of the plunger and guide it through the body until it exits at the bottom. It’s quick, secure, and helps keep your artwork perfectly aligned.

The rails arrived very safely and the 3m ones are now installed. The 2m one will be installed later in the house once we have finished renovating. As promised I have attached a few photos of my art studio space. I didn’t order enough to ensure there are two wires per canvas so would like to order more. I’m so impressed with the system that I want to use the hanging loops in the house.
